Macedonia will host JBOI 2012

Macedonia will be the host of the 6th Junior Balkan Olympiad in Informatics (JBOI). JBOI 2012 will be held in Ohrid from August 9th till August 15th 2012. Main organizer of this event is the Computer Society of Macedonia (CSM), while partners – supporters are the Agency for Electronic Communications and the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering in Skopje.

Thirty contestants from seven Balkan countries will compete at this year’s JBOI, including: Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Greece, Macedonia, Romania, Serbia and Croatia (as a guest country).

As host of this prestigious event, Macedonia will participate with one official and one unofficial team. Kliment Serafimov, Mihail Denkovski, Gorjan Popovski and Jovan Tasev will constitute the official Macedonian team at JBOI 2012, while Nikola Polincev and Nikola Anastasovski will compete as part of the unofficial team.
