3 bronze medals at BOI 2012
Having won 3 bronze medals, the Macedonian high school students had another successful international appearance at the 20th Balkan Olympiad in Informatics (BOI), which was held in Belgrade, Serbia, from August 15th till August 19th 2012. The Macedonian team at this competition was led by Mile Jovanov and Emil Stankov, and consisted of 4 official and 2 unofficial contestants: Bojan Serafimov, Hristijan Bogoevski, Jovan Krajevski, Kliment Serafimov, Vasil Kuzevski and Damjan Angelovski.
Thirty four of the best high school students from 9 countries in Southeastern Europe in the area of computer science participated at this year’s BOI in Serbia. These students were selected as representatives of their own countries through their respective national programming competitions.
Winners of bronze medals among the Macedonian students were Bojan Serafimov from Vinica, and Hristijan Bogoevski and Kliment Serafimov from Skopje, all students at "Yahya Kemal" high school in Skopje.
