Competitions in informatics 2014

This year, the Computer Society of Macedonia organizes the annual national competition cycle in informatics for the 25th time. In the first, preparation part of the cycle (28.02.2014), the contestants will be ranked according to the number of solved tasks from the training section of the MENDO system. Each solved task is worth 1 point (no matter when, from how many attempts it has been solved, etc.). In this part the contestants can score at most 20 points.

Right to compete at the Regional Competition in Informatics will be given to all the contestants that have solved at least 10 (ten) tasks from the training section of the system, and that have been registered for the competition by their mentor - or a representative of the school where they study. In order to register students for the competition, the mentor should send an e-mail to natprevar@cs.org.mk containing the list of participants from the school (name, surname, year of studies, competition group in which he/she will compete, username from the MENDO system), as well as the contact phone number of the responsible teacher. This must be done by Tuesday (25.02.2014).

Important notice: Read the rules "Competitions in informatics 2014" on the web site of the Computer Society of Macedonia (see the link below), as well as the preliminary information for the Regional Competition (see the link below). Note that, beginning from this year, the right to compete at the National Competition in Informatics will be earned on school level.
